1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Little Chats ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Little Chats is a mobile application that provides AI-powered conversation cards to help parents and caregivers connect with children ages 3-12 through fun, age-appropriate questions. The service includes:
- Limitless curated question cards across 12 categories
- AI-generated personalized questions
- Multiple child profile support
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the App. The App is designed for use by adults (parents, grandparents, teachers, and caregivers) with children. Children should not use the App independently.
4. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account using Sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
5. Subscription and Payments
5.1 Subscription Options
- Monthly Premium: $4.99/month after 3-day free trial
- Yearly Premium: $29.99/year after 3-day free trial (Best Value)
5.2 Free Trial
New subscribers receive a 3-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.
5.3 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
5.4 Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods.
5.5 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified in advance of any price changes.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App's content without permission
- Use the App in any way that could harm minors
7. Intellectual Property
The App and its entire contents, features, and functionality are owned by Little Chats (Lumio Studio) and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written consent.
8. AI-Generated Content
The App uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized questions. While we strive to ensure all content is appropriate and safe, AI-generated content may occasionally be unexpected. We recommend parents review questions before asking them. You can regenerate questions at any time.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LITTLE CHATS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Little Chats and its developer from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
