Delete Your Account & Data

This page explains how to request deletion of your Little Chats account and the data associated with it. Little Chats is developed and operated by Lumio Studio. You can delete your account directly inside the app, or request deletion by email — both options are described below.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (instant)

The fastest way to delete your account and all associated data is from within the Little Chats app:

1. Open the Little Chats app and make sure you are signed in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Your account and the data listed below are permanently removed immediately upon confirmation. This action cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app, email us at contact@lumiostudio.co from the email address linked to your account, with the subject line "Little Chats Account Deletion Request". We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days, and confirm by email once it is done.

What data is deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

• Your Firebase Authentication account (Apple / Google sign-in identity).
• Your parent profile and account details (name, email).
• All kid profiles you created (names, ages, interests).
• Your statistics, streaks, and activity history (questions viewed, progress, usage data).
• Your selected and saved cards and personalization preferences.

What data is kept

After deletion, we may retain a limited amount of data only where required:

• Subscription & purchase records are held by Apple (App Store) and Google (Play Store), not by us. We do not store your payment information. Manage or cancel a subscription through your App Store or Play Store account.
• Anonymized, aggregated analytics that can no longer be linked to you may be retained to understand overall app usage.
• Records we are legally required to keep (for example, for tax, fraud-prevention, or accounting obligations) are retained only for the period required by law.

Deletion timeframe

In-app deletions are processed immediately. Email requests are completed within 30 days of verifying your identity. Any data retained for legal reasons is deleted or anonymized once the applicable retention period ends.
